Rejuran S

Pharmaresearch Products

Rejuran S is a specialized variant of the Rejuran product line developed by Pharmaresearch Products, specifically formulated for the treatment of depressed and atrophic scars. While sharing the same c-PDRN active ingredient derived from Oncorhynchus keta (chum salmon) as Rejuran Healer, Rejuran S features a higher viscosity formulation that allows it to be deposited precisely into scar tissue, where it remains localized for an extended period. The higher viscosity is achieved through optimized concentration and cross-linking of the PDRN polymer chains, resulting in a gel that resists immediate dispersion when injected into the dermal-subdermal junction beneath scars. This localized delivery ensures sustained A2A receptor activation in the fibroblasts surrounding the scar, promoting organized collagen remodeling rather than the disordered fibrosis characteristic of scar tissue. Rejuran S is particularly effective for rolling and boxcar-type atrophic acne scars, post-surgical scars, and stretch marks (striae distensae). The product works by stimulating fibroblast proliferation and directional collagen deposition in the dermal deficit beneath the scar, gradually elevating the depressed tissue toward the surrounding skin surface. Clinical observation shows progressive improvement over 2-3 months following a treatment course, as new collagen matures and contracts.
